BACARDI ACHEIVES DOUBLE-DIGIT GROWTH
Bacardi USA’s Chief, Eduardo Sardina, announced at the annual Nightclub and Bar Show Monday that the company’s revenue is growing “at a 9% to 10% organic rate.” In addition to Bacardi, the company’s Bombay Sapphire gin and Dewar’s scotch brands are also increasing in volume while Grey Goose vodka continues its upward trend. Eduardo maintained that the spirits industry will continue to consolidate, much like last year’s buy-outs of Allied Domecq by Pernod Ricard, Fortune Brands, and Diageo. “Another shoe will drop,” he said, according to Market Watch staff writer William Spain.
