SHAKING THINGS UP AT BLACKSTONE

Blackstone Winery is adding a Monterey County Pinot Grigio and Monterey County Riesling to its Winemaker’s Select series after the success of its red wines. "The quality of the grapes from the 2005 harvest was excellent for Monterey County, especially for white wines, making it an optimal year to introduce Pinot Grigio and Riesling to our national portfolio," said Blackstone Winemaker Dennis Hill. White wines continue to grow in popularity in the United States with sales of Pinot Grigio increasing 25% and Riesling growing almost 14%.
