STRUGGLING TO GROW: VINCOR BRANCHES OUT WITH NEW POSITIONS

Vincor International Inc., the eighth-largest wine producer in the world, has announced a range of new appointments. Richard Jones, former CFO, will now serve as president of Vincor Canada and will oversee operations of the Canadian wine division, the company’s largest. Jay Wright, the current president, will take on the newly created position of president of international operations which oversees development in the U.S., Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and South Africa. Treasurer Debbie Simpson will take over as CFO and executive VP for finance and administration. Frank Syer, former corporate VP for human resources, has been appointed executive VP for human resources and organization development. Chief Donald Triggs said, “The appointments will complement and reinforce the long-term strategic growth of our business.”
