GRAPE-BASED VODKA SET FOR NATIONAL ROLLOUT

Beam Wine Estates Inc., the super-premium Sonoma Valley wine company that was once Peak Wines International, is taking the California grape-based Roth Vodka national. The production, sales and marketing of Roth Vodka, launched last year, is being handled by Healdsburg-based Beam Wine Estates. The product will be rolled out in select markets beginning June 1, including New York, Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois and Massachusetts. Claiming itself as a luxury vodka product, Roth Vodka retails for $30 in a 750-ml bottle and will be targeted towards “sommeliers, mixologists and discriminating customers,” said a company’s spokesman.
