BROWN-FORMAN WINE AND SPIRITS COMBINE

Brown-Forman announced today that effective July 1 the company will combine the now separate wines and spirits sales and marketing divisions into one. The new wines and spirits production operations will report to the head of global production, and the corporate staff will be restructured to support the new change.

Reporting to Chief Paul Varga starting July 1 are COO Jim Bareuther, CBO Mark McCallum, and CFO Phoebe Wood. Also included on the list are Head of Global Production Jim Chiles, Head of Human Resources & Strategy Jim Welch, Michael Crutcher, Vice Chairman and General Counsel, Senior VP Lois Mateus and Chief of Staff Phil Lichtenfels.
