CRUZAN LOOKING TO DROP THE FDC?

Cruzan International, a subsidiary of Swedish company V&S Group, is looking to possibly sale their Florida Distillers Company (FDC) division so they can focus on their spirits business. Cruzan has asked TM Capital Corp. to look for “strategic alternatives” concerning FDC which may lead to selling it.

FDC runs a contract bottling operation for alcohol brands including Cruzan Rum and Seagrams vodka, and is the leading producer of citrus brandy and citrus spirits in the U.S.
