DIAGEO WINE TAKES A NEW STRATEGY TOWARDS DISTRIBUTORS
Diageo Wines is launching a new interactive online training tool for their distributors June 1 “that will change the way distributors learn about and sell the company's wine.” The e-learning program consists of segments from each of the wineries, green-screen video technology, and on-line tests that will be updated periodically with new product launches. Distributors will have the ability to work and review from home any time of the day.
"One of our strategic advantages is our distributor network and route to market," said Sandra LeDrew, Vice President of Sales for DC&E. "But in order for us to continue to stay ahead of changes in the industry, we have to look for new and innovative ways to deliver training. This program sets the bar."
