AUSTRALIAN WINE EXPORTS RISE DOUBLE DIGITS

Figures from the Australian Wine and Brandy Corp. revealed that exports rose 12% during the 2006 financial year but the average price per liter dropped 9%. Export volumes reached 738 million liters for the year ending June 30, while export revenues rose 2% to $2.1 billion.
