TWO NEW APPOINTMENTS AT PERNOD

Pernod announced that Bruno Rain, currently CEO of Pernod Ricard Espana, is appointed Group Deputy Managing Director in charge of Human Resources. He will take up his new role as of September 1, 2006, after Yves Flaissier retires.

Emmanuel Babeau, currently CFO of Pernod Ricard, is appointed Group Deputy Managing Director in charge of finance, and will start September 1 as well.
