In the latest installment of wholesaler consolidation trends, Republic Beverage announced their acquisition of North Dakota’s Congress Inc. yesterday. Does not a week go by when one spirits and/or wine wholesaler hasn’t bought another one?

"After considering options for the future of our family-owned business, Republic Beverage was the clear choice to ensure that our employees, customers and supplier partners would have a bright future," said Jared Anderson, president and chief of Congress. Jared will now serve as President of Republic Beverage Company-North Dakota, reporting to Bob Hendrickson, President of RBC-Open States division.
