HARDY’S CEO STEPS DOWN

Hardy Wine Company’s CEO David Woods is set to retire from the Constellation-owned company and will step down on June 30, 2007.

“Being part of the team which has seen Hardy grow from a mid-sized family wine business in the mid-1980s to Australia’s largest wine producer and now part of the world’s largest wine company has been an incredible experience,” he said.

Woods joined Hardy in 1987 as a sales and marketing manager at Houghton Wines. The company plans to conduct internal and external searches for a replacement in the coming months, and expects to announce a new CEO early next year.
