B-F TO REJOIN KENTUCKY DISTILLERS’ ASSOCIATION
The Woodford Reserve bourbon distillery, owned by Brown-Forman, may soon rejoin the Kentucky Distillers’ Association. B-F spokesman Phil Lynch told local newspapers that the company is interesting in rejoining the trade group after the company stopped paying its dues several years ago.
Ed O'Daniel, the association's president, said the move also would end what he described as "awkward relations" with Brown-Forman.
"It's in the best interests of the industry to be united," said O'Daniel, whose group now has eight members and an annual budget of around $250,000.
