GLOBAL WINE COMPANY SET TO NAB UNNAMED GROUP

The California-based 360 Global Wine Company has signed a letter of intent to acquire an unnamed U.S.-based wine and spirits group for approximately $25 million, hoping to increase revenue and distribution.

The chief of Global Wine, Jake Shapiro, believes the acquisition will help drive sales for its Cucina Viansa wine brand. Although he refuses to name a specific target, he expects to close the deal sometime in January.
