BLAVOD UPS SHIPMENTS TO THE U.S.
During the holidays (Oct. 1 thru December 31), Blavod Extreme Spirits reported a shipment increase of over 62% in the U.K., along with a 33% hike in international shipments.
U.S. shipments for the company also increased in the period, led by Blavod’s tequila brand El Diamante del Cielo, up 62%.
As WSD previously reported in November, Blavod has received and signed a 'Letter of Intent' from an unnamed NASDAQ listed company that may or may not lead to an offer. The approach, which is subject to a number of pre-conditions, is an all share offer of shares in the listed company. At the close of business on November 24, 2006, the indicative offer valued Blavod at approximately $12.83 million.
Blavod’s brands include Blavod Black Vodka, Players Extreme, El Diamante del Cielo and Baroncini wine.
