HERRADURA EXTENSION PUSHED BACK

Brown-Forman Corp. has extended its $876 million acquisition of Mexico-based Casa Herradura to close no later than Jan. 18. This marks the second time the ending date was pushed back after both companies announced in August they expected the deal to be finalized by the end of 2006, and then January 11.

No reason for the delay was given.
