E&J Gallo Winery was the fastest-growing wine producer in the U.K. last year, with its total portfolio increasing 24% in 2006 and hitting sales of over 5.5 million nine-liter cases.

McWilliam’s Wines, Gallo’s Australian brand, recorded growth of 76% last year, according to ACNielsen. The Chilean brand Viña Chilcaya, which was launched in the U.K. last March, has grown by $4.3 million worth of sales since its debut.
