DIAGEO LAUNCHES NEWHAVEN 2006 VINTAGE
Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines has launched its Newhaven 2006 Sauvignon Blanc in the U.S., beginning this month. The wine will be available nationally at a suggested retail price of $11.99.
Newhaven comes from the famed Marlborough region at the northeastern tip of New Zealand’s South Island. Currently, Sauvignon Blanc accounts for almost 80% of New Zealand wine exports to the U.S., where New Zealand ranks as the fastest growing import, according to ACNielsen.
