Beam Global is offering new citrus, raspberry and cherry flavors for Gilbey’s vodka and premium packaging for Ronrico rum, according to the company.
DISCUS numbers show that the low-end, flavored segment grew 22% in 2006, outpacing growth for the overall economy vodka category.
The crest and the year “1860” on the existing Ronrico labels will become the focal point of the new shield-like label, a move away from the standard rectangular-shape used now. The upgrade will affect the entire Ronrico line, including its Silver, Gold, Citrus, Vanilla and Pineapple-Coconut marques.
