LAST TIME: CALLING ALL HANDS

Thanks to all the hundreds of people that answered our annual wine and spirits industry survey. We will report the results next week, but here is sneak peak at what you had to say.

So far, an overwhelming majority of respondents reveal that Australian imports create the most competition for the domestic wine industry. Worried about global warming’s impact on US wineries? Most said not in their lifetime. Lastly, a small majority believe Fortune will end up acquiring Absolut, while Bacardi, Pernod and Diageo were all tied for second place. Brown-Forman came in last.
