NEW STOLI AD FOCUSES ON “AUTHENTICITY.”
Could this be a defense against Russian Standard who accuses the Stoli brand of incorrectly claiming it hales from Russia? Pernod Ricard announced today it is launching the U.S. launch of a new, multi-million dollar ad campaign for Stolichnaya as a part of its first global marketing effort. The advertising will feature the tagline, "Choose Authenticity," according to the company.
The execution is meant to be funny and proud, while featuring positive Russian icons (no Stalin here). One of the campaign’s first headlines, for example, reads, “"The Mother of all Vodkas, from the Motherland of Vodka."
