CAMPARI BUYS CABO WABO

In a deal expected to close January 2008, Italian group Campari has bought 80% of Cabo Wabo Tequila. Cabo was founded over ten years ago by Sammy Harger, former lead singer of Van Halen, which is also a major shareholder.

The company has also appointed a new ceo, Bob Kunze-Concewitz, to replace Enzo Visone who decided to leave the group.
