A-B TEST MARKETS ANOTHER SPIRITS BRAND

Anheuser-Busch went public with its Jimmy Buffett deal this week, testing Margaritaville Tequila in Massachusetts. Dave Peacock said in a statement that A-B “has entered an agreement with Margaritaville Spirits to distribute Margaritaville Tequila in Massachusetts. This supports our efforts to test a limited portfolio of premium spirits.”

A-B is also partnering with a craft vodka producer, Vermont Spirits Company, which makes small batch vodka from molasses. Additionally, A-B distributors in the Northeast (CT and MA) have just begun to distribute Hammer + Sickle vodka, imported from Russia.
