WSWA REVEALS NEW POLICIES IN COMBATING DRUNK DRIVING

The Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) have released a "Smart National Alcohol Practices" policy statement to help guide legislators and regulators, said chief and president Craig Wolf. To help put a stop to drunk driving, the WSWA resolves to educate people about “the dangers of driving,” in addition to ensuring “there is also effective treatment for offenders.”

WSWA urges the rest of the industry to join them in implementing the fifteen measures that fall under “Smart Practices,” including ignition interlock and graduated penalties for repeat offenders. To view a complete list of the policies, click here.
