RANCH WINERY OPENS BARREL STORAGE FACILITY

The Ranch Winery has opened a major new barrel storage facility at its St. Helena winery campus on Zinfandel Lane, as the first phase of a comprehensive new premium custom-crush facility in Napa Valley. Ranch is headed by familiar industry names including Joel Gott (of Joel Gott Wines), Mark Beringer (previous winemaker at Duckhorn Vineyards) and Tim McDonald (long-time Napa Valley builder).

In addition to barrel storage, The Ranch will be providing custom crush and fermentation services for its barrel storage clients beginning with the 2007 harvest. The Ranch is currently leasing the majority of the winery’s crush and wine storage capacity back to Trinchero under a phase-in agreement for the next three years.
