SUPREME COURT DECISION: READER FEEBACK
We got some great response to yesterday’s story on the recent Supreme Court decision to allow vertical price fixing in certain situations. Here’s what one reader had to say:
“I am very much in agreement with the Supreme Court on this decision. It is my opinion that brand owners should have the latitude to protect their brand equity and price integrity, and should be able through freedom of contract to decide with whom they would like to do business. Any retailer, discounter or not, has the right to choose to buy or not buy a product, and the brand owner should therefore have the right to decide to sell or not sell a product should they feel it is not in the best interest of their brand.”
Thanks again for all your emails.
