CHARLES KRUG INTRODUCES 2004 MERLOT
Charles Krug Winery is releasing a 2004 Napa Valley Merlot made predominantly from estate-grown grapes that it claims will cure “merlot-phobia.” The 2004 vintage is available at $22 a bottle.
“Six years ago our family made a commitment to producing wine that represents the best of Napa Valley, replanting vineyards, matching the vines to the climate and soil, and moving to organic farming techniques. The 2004 Napa Valley Merlot is the result of those efforts,” said Peter Mondavi, Jr.
