FORMER FOSTER’S EXEC JOINS NEW WINE IMPORTING CO
Brian Wurtz has been named president of Schwartz-Olcott Imports, a wine marketing company that recently created and launched (oops), a new wine brand from Chile based on The Lost Grape Of Bordeaux.
Wurtz will be responsible for all wine operations and will be building a national sales organization for all Schwartz-Olcott brands.
He was recently vp of sales for Foster's Wine Estates in the U.S. and has also held senior sales positions at Southcorp/Rosemount, Trinchero Family Estates, Southern Wine & Spirits and E & J Gallo. During his time at Southcorp he and his team were responsible for the successful release of the wine brand Little Penguin.
