WILD OATS PUTS GENERAL COUNSEL ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE

Progressive Grocer reports that retailer Wild Oats has placed its general counsel Freya Brier on administrative leave, pending the resolution of a dispute under her severance agreement, according to a company filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Her administrative leave coincides with a current attempt by Wild Oats and World Market to have a judge overrule a FTC decision that blocks their merger.
