FTC UNLIKELY TO PURSUE WHOLE FOODS CASE

According to a report in Reuters, the FTC might not continue following its loss in the Whole Foods/Wild Oats merger case.

FTC chairman Deborah Majoras reportedly said that while the agency’s administrative process against Whole Foods has not been stopped, “It's been a very rare case when we've (pursued administrative action) when we've lost in district court.”
