PERNOD TO SELL FRAMINGHAM WINERY TO PORTUGUESE IMPORTER
Pernod Ricard says it will sell its Marlborough-based Framingham winery, vineyards and brand to Sogrape upon receiving approval from the New Zealand Overseas Investment Office. Sograge is a family-owned international wine company based in Oporto in northern Portugal and owns the Portuguese rosé wine brand Mateus.
Under the proposed arrangements with Sogrape, Pernod will retain the distribution rights for Framingham in Australia and New Zealand.
