SIMON HUNT TO HEAD WILLIAM GRANT & SONS
William Grant & Sons has appointed Simon Hunt as managing director of its North America and Mexico unit and president of WGS USA, effective Oct. 15. Simon previously served as ceo and president of Malibu-Kahlua International.
Simon will report directly to WGS ceo Roland van Bommel. As a part of his new position, Simon will become a member of the company executive committee.
“His [Simon] appointment comes as we focus efforts on the value growth of our portfolio of brands, including Glenfiddich, The Balvenie and Hendrick's Gin, by strengthening our capabilities within the business,” said van Bommel.
