BACARDI TO BUILD NEW DEWAR’S FACILITY

Bacardi finalized an agreement to purchase 106 acres of land in central Scotland to be developed as a second maturation, blending and storage facility for Dewar’s Scotch whisky. This is Bacardi’s eighth facility in Scotland and is part of its $250 million investment in Dewar’s over the next ten years. Construction is planned to be undertaken in consecutive phases, starting in 2008 with an estimated completion in 2018.
